Although there is no set schedule for when we make modifications to Milepost 1147.2, we realize that some visitors may find it useful to know what has changed since their last visit. Following is a quick chronology for all changes that have occurred since May 26, 1999. Also, look for the "new" and "updated" icons that will alert you to the most recent updates.
June 19, 2000 — Added a story about Train Day 2000 with photo links in the Fun Stuff section.
May 28, 2000 — Created a recent additions page in the gallery section. Our first installment features 18 photos taken since the first of the year.
April 18, 2000 — Added four articles to the library section. For now, they are marked with the "new" label.
February 29, 2000 — Created the Western Railway Museum page in the gallery section.
November 16, 1999 — Created the Night Photography page in the gallery section. Added one image to the Sando page. We have received a few requests and suggestions from visitors to the site over the last few weeks and will start honoring those in the next update. Thanks for your input and patience.
October 22, 1999 — Updated the gallery section, adding two images to the Sando page and one to the Antioch page.
September 26, 1999 — Added six images to the accidents and mishaps page in the gallery section. Added Celebrate the Century Express banner to the main page.
September 22, 1999 — Created the Celebrate the Century Express page in the gallery section.
September 21, 1999 — In honor of the first anniversary of Milepost 1147.2 today we added 24 images to the Amtrak page in the gallery section.
August 26, 1999 — Created the Model Railroading section off the main page with information and photos on our new garden railway.
August 3, 1999 — Created Hillyard page in the gallery section.
July 21, 1999 — Created Knightsen and East Antioch pages in the gallery section.
July 20, 1999 — Updated navigation links in the gallery section; created the Bay Point page and added two images to the Stockton page.
June 26, 1999 — Added 29 images to the Railfair '99 tribute in the gallery section.
June 22, 1999 — Added 13 images to the Railfair '99 tribute in the gallery section.
June 20, 1999 — Updated the gallery section, creating the Glen Frazer page and adding new images to the Oakley, Our Back Fence and Accidents pages.
June 11, 1999 — Prompted by an e-mail from Roger Houser of Texas (thanks Roger!), we ran a thorough check of the entire site and corrected a number of problems we were unaware of previously. We added 14 jpeg files that had been missing from the server, corrected a typo or two, fixed the link to the "Fun Stuff" section and updated the links page. The photos should all be there now. If you encounter future problems, please take a second to drop us an e-mail and let us know. We will be forever grateful and you will help guarantee that the site is up to date. Thanks.
June 8, 1999 — Added eight articles to the library section, including "Taking the kids" features and Du pont closure story.
June 8, 1999 — Updated the tips section, adding "8 rules to foam by" and "Railfan gear" topics.
May 26, 1999 — Added the Du Pont page to the gallery section. Added the what's new section.
